Role Summary/Purpose

  • GE Africa's Early Career Development Program (ECDP) is a 12 month leadership program designed to give recent university/college graduates challenging work assignments, training and development, and exposure to leadership.
  • The program combines hands on experience with formal classroom training to equip participants with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in GE.
Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Generating proposals, planning customer meetings
  • Providing project management support for new and ongoing projects/programmes
  • Owning relationships with selected GEHC partners
  • Develop and maintain a high level of GEHC product knowledge and competitors' products
  • Achieve quarterly and annual project/programme development targets through accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Develop strategies for key target and competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements
  • Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to enable sales
Quality Specific Goals
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int'l Law is broken.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Biomedical Bachelor's Degree or similar Health Science Degree or Engineering degree or higher.
  • 0 - 2 years experience in medical diagnostic environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to sales meetings and tradeshows.
  • To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria.

  • The Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) is GE's premier development program for high potential individuals seeking a career in sales and marketing. Successful candidates will be hired into one of GE's core businesses: GE Energy Management, GE Power & Water, GE Oil & Gas, GE Capital, GE Healthcare, GE Aviation, GE Transportation, GE Home & Business, or GE Global Growth Organization (GGO).
  • ECLP accelerates the development of commercial savvy talent through a structured program combining coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars. The program consists of three, eight-month rotational assignments within the sales and/or marketing segments of a GE business. Rotations provide experiences such as consultative selling, marketing analysis, marketing management, product management, customer and market segmentation, pricing, field sales, and underwriting. To supplement on-the-job learning, program members strengthen their commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing seven weeks of in-residence training over the two year program.
  • ECLP is one of GE's world-famous leadership development programs. To supplement on-the-job learning, program participants will strengthen their commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum consisting of seven weeks of classroom training and in-residence global symposiums. The program is global in scope with participants from the North America, Latin America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), China, Japan, SE Asia, and India. ECLP exposes members to multiple segments within a given GE business. This rotational experience will highlight the diversity that differentiates GE from other companies and will help to accelerate learning. Nigerian Air Force Airmen/ Airwomen Recruitment Exercise (BMTC 2014)

NIGERIAN AIR FORCE AIRMEN/ AIRWOMEN 2014 EXERCISE

General Instructions

1.) Nationality: 
  • Applicant must be of Nigerian origin.
2.) Age:
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 22 years for non-tradesmen/women, 17 and 24 years for tradesmen/women by 31 December 2014.
  • Those who will be older than 22 and 24 years for non-tradesmen and tradesmen respectively by 31st December 2014 need not apply
3.) Marital Status:
  • All applicants must be single.
4.) Height:
  • Minimum height is 1.68 meters or 5.5ft for males and 1.65m or 5.4ft for females.
5.) Medical Fitness:
  • All applicants must be medically fit and meet the Nigerian Air Force medical and employment standards.
Academic/Professional Qualification

Non-Tradesmen/women:
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than 2 sittings obtained not later than 4 years to this exercise. In addition, applicants are also required to possess their school’s testimonials.
Tradesmen/women:
  • Applicants must satisfy the requirements stated for Non-Trade above. In addition, applicants applying as tradesmen/tradeswomen must possess ND (with minimum of Lower Credit) or other relevant trade qualification from government-approved institutions. Note that applicants with HND or First Degrees/Post-Graduate Certificates, University Diplomas and Grade II Teacher's certificates will not be considered for recruitment as airmen/airwomen into the Nigerian Air Force.
Attestation Forms:
  • Applicant's attestation form must be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicant and not below the rank of Squadron Leader or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant CP and above. Local Governments Chairmen/Secretaries, magistrates and principals of government Secondary Schools from applicants' state of origin can also sign the attestation forms. In addition, applicants are to bring with them a letter of attestation of good character from any of the officers above to the Zonal Recruitment Centers and final selection interview.
