Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Job Descriptions

Increase Active SIM & Recharge Outlets:
  • Controls the distribution width and depth of the zone
Increase number of Channel Partners:
  • Liaise and collaborate with Channel partners to identify ways to and the dealers and thereby increase penetration
  • Recommend measures to increase tertiary sales from existing & new retailers
To achieve Tertiary Recharge sales:
  • Coordinate all sales activities so that sales turnover are optimized
  • Timely communication of all schemes /product launches to distributors and retailers
Achieve Gross Pre Paid targets:
  • Maximize sales through effective execution and implementation of placement and distribution strategies
Manage, train and develop Field Sales Employee (FSE):
  • Develop merchandise for new products/ schemes & market availability of Point of sale
  • Tracking and reviewing distributors and their FSEs on their secondary & tertiary sales and market expansion
  • Coordinate with Sales Training Function for product, process and behavioural training of FSEs
Maintain effective Updated MIS:
  • Partners with ZSM in gathering, coordinating, and communicating market information including competition activities, customer preferences ensuring effective sales management.
Desired Skills and Experience
Educational Qualifications and Functional / Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field of study
Relevant Experience
  • 3-5 years experience preferably in FMCG, Consumer Durables and Telecommunications
Other Requirements
  • Results Driven

  • Innovative Selling skills
  • Customer centric
  • Ability to manage a team and multiple channels/dealers
  • Good communicator, must possess ability to communicate with all cadres within his channel portfolio

Job Purpose
  • The purpose of this job is to manage prepaid customer base in the assigned zone with the sole aim of increasing revenue and reducing churn by utilizing services like the ongoing know Your Customer Campaign (KYC) and other such opportunities that may arise in future.
Key Accountabilities
  • Effectively manage customers in assigned zone with view to reducing churn
  • Monitor customer behavior through lifecycle reporting and analysis.
  • Work with the product development team to design products and service suited to the immediate environment
  • Effectively manage distribution of KYC terminals in assigned zone.
  • Liaise with Retail Partners in the zone to host Airtel KYC terminals in their premises.
  • Monitor and improve the KYC process in the zone with the aim of reducing Turn Around Time (TAT).
  • Provide support for prepaid activations in assigned zone
  • Use the registration opportunity to win over new customers and increase share of wallet from customers with dual Sims.
Desired Skills and Experience

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills:
  • A first Degree from a reputable university.
Relevant Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Job Purpose
  • Ensure that the 2G and 3G, LTE, etc. in good quality and Optimized.
Key Accountabilities
  • Defines and measures the unit KPIs.
  • Follows-up the evolution of the radio system quality.
  • Proposes indicators for the continuous analysis and follow-up of radio voice and data quality of service, generates proper alarms and recommends solutions when needed.
  • Proposes preventive and/or corrective actions for the provisioning of acceptable QoS for voice and data services.
  • Follows-up and ensures the existence of sufficient capacity in the radio network (including on the BSC-BTS and the air interfaces).
  • Researches and implements solutions for continuous service improvement in respect to parameter settings and configuration.
  • Investigates and recommends proper solutions for customer complaints; validates proposed solutions related to parameter modification on the radio network.
  • Validates the recommended radio parameters and configuration provided by the unit.
  • Recommends measurement tools for the radio, Abis and A interfaces and related post processing tools.
  • Proposes and verifies the implementation of optimal solutions in order to improve operational efficiency of the unit.
  • Follows corrective actions based on the internal reports of coverage analysis.
  • Follows-up general Radio access technology trends relating to radio optimization activities and assists the RAN Research & Studies unit in the update of Radio engineering guidelines accordingly.

Continuously Improved Employee Engagement
  • Develop with HR Director and functional heads, and ensure implementation of tactical plans targeted at improving employee performance and engagement
