Job Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Sales

Primary Objective
  • The Senior Manager Corporate Sales will develop the Corporate Sales Plan to achieve the related revenue target for the channel, achieving optimal results to secure corporate contracts, increasing the numbers year on year.
  • Ensure that corporate sales strategies are profitable and position the company for long-term growth within the corporate channels.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of the corporate sales strategy in order to enhance existing and new revenue channels.
  • Achieve and exceed the set revenue targets for each financial year.
  • Ensure the sales and revenue opportunities are maximized by sourcing new corporate sales agreements that have a positive contribution towards revenue target set for the financial year.
  • Execution of funnel management, forecasting and other sales financial analysis.
  • Effective management of Corporate sales (field sales, operations, forecasting and headcount)
  • Work with Commercial teams to design and execute effective strategies to maximize revenue, growth, retention and loyalty of designated key accounts; develop and deploy strategies to manage, measure and grow the channel.
  • Lead, participate and facilitate sessions with team members which are directed in the development of selling, retention strategies and focused on achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas and targets, and a balanced product mix.
  • Recruit high performing staff, train and develop new employees.
  • Facilitate individual growth and development of Sales team, setting objectives, performance standards and priorities, coaching and acting as role model on sales approaches and account leadership.
  • Inspire and influence internal stakeholders, and other resources not under direct control, partnering with stakeholders to continually assess and improve internal processes and interfaces between functions to deliver the best possible account/customer experience.
  • Report to Management on sales and market growth results and recommend the necessary changes to ensure the desired results are achieved.
  • Monitor and assess visits to corporate accounts to ensure good relationship management with client as well as ensure gaps & business opportunities are closed successfully.
  • Review and monitor the organization and participation at events, seminars and functions to ensure maximum exposure of the business and its products and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A minimum of a University Degree, a higher degree is desirable.
  • 7-8 years of Corporate Sales / Leadership experience in the airlines/travel industry,  preferably experience in  leading a multi-site Corporate Sales Team.
  • A proven track record of success in B2C (Direct Corporates) and B2B (Travel Management Companies) sales.
  • Strong ability to develop strategic sales teams while driving engagement and success.
  • Strong financial acumen, coupled with strategic marketing and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – very adept at synthesizing complex solutions and presenting them effectively to all levels of an organization.
  • Natural leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of individuals.A healthy mix of tenacity, commitment and pragmatism to successfully lead a team and grow our business within a competitive and challenging environment

Job Summary
  • Reports to the SCCM during flight duties.
  • To ensure the safety and security of passengers on board the aircraft.
  • To deliver product and service to the highest standards and deal professionally with all matters relating to passenger queries and needs in-flight.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all Cabin Crew Instructions and Cabin Crew Notices have been read and understood prior to attending pre-flight briefing.
  • Be fully conversant with all legal requirements for operating as Cabin Crew, eg all licences and other relevant documentation are valid.
  • Ensure grooming standards are met.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with the location, operation and use of all safety and survival equipment, emergency exits and escape aids on board the aircraft.
  • Ensure the service and product is delivered to the highest possible standard.
  • Advise the SCCM of product irregularities or customer issues.
  • Ensure cabin and toilets are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Maintain a high standard of public conduct whilst in uniform and in public view.

Essential Requirement
  • Minimum of two years in customer service experience.

  • Must have good communication and written skill
  • Must be presentable and attractive

  • Should be a leader and self-starter with excellent command of written and spoken English.

Job summary

Job description
The satisfactory completion and certification of all line maintenance and defect rectification work required by Arik Air or other contracted operators/customers, in accordance with the work specification.
  • Ensuring that the organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance.
  • Ensuring, through the workforce under his control, that the quality of workmanship in the final product is to a standard acceptable to the organisation and the NCAA.
  • Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in maintenance by establishing a programme of training and continuation training using :-
    • Internal and external sources.
    • On-the-job instruction and evaluation.
    • Examination/testing as necessary
  • Keeping a record of all training and experience of maintenance-related personnel.
  • Ensuring that all sub-contract orders are correctly detailed and that the requirements of the contract/order are fulfilled in respect of inspection and quality control.
  • Responding to quality deficiencies in the area of activity for which he is responsible, which arise from independent quality audits.
Required skills & qualifications
  • AME License Engineer type rated
  • 5 - 10 years minimum experience of Line Maintenance at least 3 years on type, Licensed on Airbus 330/340, with experience of any of the following would help; Boeing 737 classic/ng, CRJ900 , Q400 and HS125-800 preferable with line operations
  • Good Leadership skills & attention to details
  • Good Knowledge of Technical support functions , MEL and maintenance planning systems
  • Good It Skills and a Knowledge of current MRO IT Systems
  • Good communication skills and Strong organizational Skills

Job Title: Engineering Trainee

Job Specifications:

  • Work together with Technicians to provide technical support and rectification action in response to operational problems, incidents and AOG situations, minimising the impact of operational disruptions and cost.
  • Assist in Air Safety Reports investigations as required.
  • Be able to provide technical support in other technical areas
  • Liaise closely with Flight Operations (Fleet Managers), Engineering Development, Maintenance Control, QA, Materials Management, and Line Maintenance, providing maintenance services to the airline.

Arik Air Nigeria Vacancy : Aircraft Maintenance Planning

Job Summary:
Has co-ordination of all Airworthiness related activities and ensuring that maintenance intervals are not exceeded.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS.
• Relates with the AVP Engineering and Planning, Planning & Production Control Manager, AVP Maintenance, Maintenance Service Providers, MROs, Supply Chain etc.
Location: Lagos – Nigeria
Job Description: • Prepare and distribute applicable work documents for the accomplishment of maintenance tasks (scheduled and unscheduled) and create flow chart for checks.
• Take actions deemed necessary to balance workloads with available manpower.
• Ensure that time specifications on maintenance program items, Airworthiness Directives, carryover items, assigned to his/her jurisdiction, are not exceeded.
• Maintain accomplishment records of Airworthiness Directives, Alert Service Bulletins, Corrosion Prevention and Control Program, Structural Significant items etc on the entire fleet.
• Review completed paper work of assigned tasks or accuracy and completeness; assures that completed paper work is forwarded to Aircraft Records.
• Evaluate the cost of all maintenance tasks on man-hour calculations.
• Prepare weekly, aircraft, engines and components status and forecasts the next 30 days of scheduled maintenance.
Required skill set & Qualification:

REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of First Degree in Mechanical Engineering or
• A holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence
• Training in Aircraft Technical Records and Management/Maintenance Planning Techniques will be an added advantage
