Job Title: Senior Manager, Corporate Sales

Primary Objective
  • The Senior Manager Corporate Sales will develop the Corporate Sales Plan to achieve the related revenue target for the channel, achieving optimal results to secure corporate contracts, increasing the numbers year on year.
  • Ensure that corporate sales strategies are profitable and position the company for long-term growth within the corporate channels.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor the implementation of the corporate sales strategy in order to enhance existing and new revenue channels.
  • Achieve and exceed the set revenue targets for each financial year.
  • Ensure the sales and revenue opportunities are maximized by sourcing new corporate sales agreements that have a positive contribution towards revenue target set for the financial year.
  • Execution of funnel management, forecasting and other sales financial analysis.
  • Effective management of Corporate sales (field sales, operations, forecasting and headcount)
  • Work with Commercial teams to design and execute effective strategies to maximize revenue, growth, retention and loyalty of designated key accounts; develop and deploy strategies to manage, measure and grow the channel.
  • Lead, participate and facilitate sessions with team members which are directed in the development of selling, retention strategies and focused on achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas and targets, and a balanced product mix.
  • Recruit high performing staff, train and develop new employees.
  • Facilitate individual growth and development of Sales team, setting objectives, performance standards and priorities, coaching and acting as role model on sales approaches and account leadership.
  • Inspire and influence internal stakeholders, and other resources not under direct control, partnering with stakeholders to continually assess and improve internal processes and interfaces between functions to deliver the best possible account/customer experience.
  • Report to Management on sales and market growth results and recommend the necessary changes to ensure the desired results are achieved.
  • Monitor and assess visits to corporate accounts to ensure good relationship management with client as well as ensure gaps & business opportunities are closed successfully.
  • Review and monitor the organization and participation at events, seminars and functions to ensure maximum exposure of the business and its products and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A minimum of a University Degree, a higher degree is desirable.
  • 7-8 years of Corporate Sales / Leadership experience in the airlines/travel industry,  preferably experience in  leading a multi-site Corporate Sales Team.
  • A proven track record of success in B2C (Direct Corporates) and B2B (Travel Management Companies) sales.
  • Strong ability to develop strategic sales teams while driving engagement and success.
  • Strong financial acumen, coupled with strategic marketing and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – very adept at synthesizing complex solutions and presenting them effectively to all levels of an organization.
  • Natural leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team of individuals.A healthy mix of tenacity, commitment and pragmatism to successfully lead a team and grow our business within a competitive and challenging environment

FAAN Selection List Released for 2015 Recruitment

Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) released list of underlisted applicants were successful at the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Final Selection Process.

2015 FAAN FINAL SELECTION LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR FAAN JOB RECRUITMENT

MORE INFORMATION ON THE SELECTION

Candidates meeting any of the following criteria are disqualified despite their total score:
  • Candidates who are over the age limit.
  • Candidates who have highest educational qualification that is higher or lower than that established for the position.
  • Candidates whose course of study does not match the required course of study as advertiseA candidate’s Total Score is derived from the weighting of his/her scores of Aptitude Test, Physical Fitness Test, Oral Interview, Height, Age, Educational Qualification, and Experience as detailed in the requirements for the various jobs. In addition, each candidate’s credentials were reviewed.
The Selection is impacted  by the Federal Character Spread of the current Nominal Roll in FAAN

The final selection takes into account the current staff distribution in the nominal roll. Please note that there is no selection from Kogi State. This is in compliance with Federal Character Commission regulations to address over-representation of Kogi indigenes in the current FAAN Nominal Roll as shown in the Nominal Roll analysis available.

Some States' quota are yet to be filled.This will be addressed in the 2nd stage of the recruitment process. The strategy for recruiting the remaining positions to make up for the shortfall in qualified candidates for the States that are yet to make up their quota is as follows:
  • Compilation of a supplementary list of applicants from the hardcopy applications submitted at the Human Resources offices/Liaison office in February and March 2015. 
  • This pool of applicants will be contacted for tests/interviews soon.
  • The process will be guided by the FCC spread contained in Federal Character Spread Analysis.

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location:

Department: Administrative
Reporting to: Guest House Manager
Direct Reports: Plumber, Mechanical Technician, Electrical Technician etc.

Primary Objective
  • To oversee and coordinate the workers who maintain and repair electrical, plumbing and other building systems. To evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services that need to be performed.
Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities
  • Coordinates day-to-day facility maintenance tasks and activities by scheduling and assignment.
  • Supervises and leads others in departmental assignments.
  • Oversees preventive maintenance following policies and procedures.
  • Inspects and checks progress of various tasks and building renovations, insuring they are done safely, appropriately, and on-time.
  • Performs quality assurance and control.
  • Ensures that items needed for future tasks are listed and ordered. Must be able to work around other departments' schedules, may need to report to work early and/or work on weekends.
  • Completes annual performance reviews on assigned personnel.
  • Must be able to maintain a 24-hour "on call" service to respond to any needs or emergencies. Perform other duties as assigned.
Person Specifications
  • Must possess a thorough technical knowledge of the trade in the area of responsibility.
  • Have a solid educational base, generally gained through successful completion of the Apprentice program or the equivalent in education and training.
  • A candidate without an Apprentice Certificate or equivalent should have a minimum of 6 years trade experience,
  • The candidate must be able to supervise the work of others, motivate and train employees, and possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Working Relationships:
  • To interact with the Guest House Manager, other Supervisors and support staff.
