Role Summary/Purpose 
  
  • The successful candidate will manage cash and past due for Contractual Service.
Essential Responsibilities
  • He/She will have responsibility of all aspects to ensure that cash and past dues targets (financial and operational) will be achieved.
  • He/She plays a proactive role in cross-functional coordination with: Project Management, Finance, Local site Organization, Global Operations and Quality.
  • He/She will be accountable for overall cash and past due strategies and assumptions.
  • He/She will play a critical role in ensuring Past Due regional rhythm to be operative and efficient.
  • He/She will be responsible to prepare periodic update to senior managers, including Operating plan and Business reviews.
Qualifications/Requirements   
  • Engineering/Economic Degree
  • 3+ experience in working capital roles
  • Good knowledge of business dynamics, processes and accounting system
  • Self-starter, high motivation level, strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization and cross functionality
  • Proven financial and business acumen
  • Strong can do and problem solving attitude
  • Proven capability to drive cross-functional team remotely
  • English fluency
Additional Eligibility Qualifications   
Desired Characteristics:    
  • At least 5 years experience inside O&G organization, preferably inside Global Services
  • 3+ experience in GE O&G CSA in operational roles

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certified (or higher quality certification)

Role Summary/Purpose

  • To provide engineering support to help the sales team drive services and new business in the Oil & Gas and Marine industry.
  • Work with GE Oil & Gas to define solutions that encompass the full Energy Management portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities
  • The Sales Application Engineer (oil & gas and marine) demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, that meet business needs across the organization. Contribute to the overall business strategy.
  • Provide technical sales support to Region Managers, Sales Managers and team
  • Responsible for the sale of products, services, upgrades and total system solutions
  • Provide technical expertise to Sales and Commercial Operations in selecting, implementing, and developing competitive product applications and solutions
  • Responsible to support the sales team to meet orders goals for the region and by market segment
  • Provide training and technical support to the Region Managers and Sales Managers
  • Coordinate with sales force to make customer calls and presentations and participate in bid meetings and walk-through meetings with the customer as necessary
  • Estimate GE equipment and system performance, hardware, and price for budgetary estimates
  • Assess competitive system performance and hardware evaluation throughout the entire bid process

  • Perform cycle and equipment comparisons to establish economically optimum / GE preferred cycle and configuration with involvement of and communication to the commercial teams and application engineers
  • Respond to various technical questions regarding products and systems solutions
  • Lead the development and maintenance of documentation of processes and information used within the Evaluation, Analysis and Pricing group for the purposes of ensuring consistency, sharing of information among team members, and training of leadership program resources (CLP / ECLP)
  • Lead development and execution of CLP / ECLP training plans, coaching, mentoring
  • Coordinate effective utilization of CLP / ECLP resources to assist the team wherever appropriate
  • Drive motor, generator, drives and controls business through value proposition of power electronics (inverter) technology.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5 additional years of experience in a commercial environment with sales, marketing, application engineering or customer service
  • Expertise in Power Electronics and Oil & Gas
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria

Responsibilities
  • The Supplier Development Engineer drives strategic and tactical supplier development plans for the needs of multiple GE businesses in the Sub Sahara Africa region. In this role, you will expand supplier capabilities in key markets to meet the needs of multiple GE businesses.
  • This role requires a strong interaction with the GE Global Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
  • Develop and execute strategy to expand manufacturing and services capabilities of Sub Sahara Africa suppliers
  • Work closely with Sourcing Quality Engineers and other resources to identify supplier capabilities and gaps and drive strategies to ensure capabilities available to meet GE business growth plans.
  • Drive culture of safety, compliance and execution to meet GE commitments.
  • Provide technical guidance in manufacturing and repair processes (e.g., welding, machining and assembly) to a global supplier base to assure product & process compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Leverage GE global resources to accelerate supplier capability growth to meet local content requirements and expand supplier flexibility for needs of multiple GE businesses in the region.
  • Work closely with global commodity leaders identify strategic suppliers and implement capability improvements to meet business needs.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to meet cost savings and quality metrics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college university
  • Minimum of 10 years in Global Supply Chain and or Engineering roles
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of working in emerging markets in a Global Supply Chain or Engineering project management role
  • Working knowledge of GE or other OEM Oil & Gas, Power & Water products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal and external customers.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally
  • Minimum: Green Belt Certified
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and repair processes and practices of multiple GE products
  • Expertise of preparing engineering specifications and procedures for product manufacturing and repair
  • Experience in supplier development, qualification practices and tools
  • Knowledge of Sourcing processes & practices
  • Experience in supplier development and practical manufacturing and repair (shop floor) exposure
