Job Description
  • Provide technical and system solution support to the business solution’s sales team
  • Define clients' technical requirements.
  • Assist the sales team in defining corporate clients technical needs with Network Group
  • Assist the BAC and Sector Manager in technical presentation to clients.
  • Identify and tailor technical solutions to suit client needs.
  • Analyze, develop and implement solutions for optimum data usage.
  • Monitor and control products implemented.
  • Project manage the technical solution delivery to clients (requirements gathering, design/configuration, Proof of concept and implementation).
  • Disseminate technical information to entire sales force.
Job Condition

Qualification and Experience
  • B.Sc qualification.
  • Minimum of 4 years technical sales experience preferably in the telecoms environment.

Job Title: Trade Marketing Consultant

Locations:
Minna, Okene, Lokoja, Kontagora

Job Description

  • Build relationship between lower and upper levels (i.e. between Authorize distributors and sub dealers), Support Trade partners and Sub dealers and link subs, retailers etc to Trade Partners and help nurture the relationship
  • Ensure call cycle time of 8-10 visit a day per territory or as business requires
  • Identify, classify and support all players in channels of distribution and ensure weekly / monthly database update
  • Ensure MTN product availability in channel is >95% at all times and provide weekly product availability report of all visited outlets during call cycles
  • Ensure information from Distributor Account Executive on Trade Partners product distribution is confirmed and relevant Sub Dealers followed up and provide weekly / monthly report
  • Resolve all issues/queries with regards to activations, products and promotions
  • Direct all channel participants to MTN identified growth area within your territory
  • Establish consistent channel standards including branding as per channel recommendation.
  • Increase brand awareness – Signage, POS distribution and target 65% visibility in the channel of distribution (Trade marketing team will measure)
  • Support all identified outlets with 100% merchandizing as appropriate and defined.
  • Manage stock in channel and provide appropriate reports as follows;
  • Direct outlets with stock challenges to identified Trade Partners to ensure there is no stock out within assigned territories
  • Obtain list of SIM distribution by Trade Partners from Distributor Account Executives on an ongoing basis and report weekly
  • Obtain and record info on stocking from ALL visited outlets in territory (where from, when, price, where to & why still pending >30days) and report weekly / monthly.
  • Advice RSMs if there is need for focused activity in territory to help move stock – As appropriate
  • Provide training on site to Increase product knowledge
  • Ensure MTN product availability in channel is >95% at all times and provide weekly product availability report of all visited outlets during call cycles

Experience
4 years working experience which includes:

Job Description:
  • Review market and internal conditions and contribute to the development of strategies for ES Product and Service Development, demonstrating an understanding of MTNN business strategies and needs of the customer.
  • Develop detailed plans in support of approved strategies in respect of ES Propositions and Marketing Relations, organizing required resources, monitoring and periodically reporting progress of plans.
  • Lead the product development team and give professional propositions to meet targets for profitability and revenues, as agreed with the GM ES Propositions and Marketing Relations.
  • Use market gap analysis and segmentation data on the Nigerian enterprise solutions market to identify opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Present compelling business cases for new propositions and products, and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Develop new propositions, products and services within the distinct Enterprise Solutions brand and within the wider product and services “master brand” managed by MTN Nigeria Marketing Group.
  • Manage the development of new propositions, products and services, to meet agreed cost and quality targets.
  • Work with the ES Communications Planning Manager to develop effective product launch communications and process for enterprise solutions propositions, products and services, compatible with MTN Nigeria processes.
  • Organise product launch of all new propositions, products and services, and ensure effective implementation and hand-over to the in-life propositions and product management team.
  • Work with the Product and Value Pricing Manager, ES Marketing and MTN Finance groups to develop a competitive price to generate agreed margins for all new products and services.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers to enhance solutions and provide long-term and sustainable service and competitive advantage.
  • Routinely track and monitor progress against targets and take appropriate managerial action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain integration of quality management processes within all activities of Propositions and Product Development Group for the allocated strategic accounts.
  • Provide sales data, monitor sales performance and trends and generate assessment reports and analysis for management reviews
  • Identify training and development needs for product development team members and manage related skills enhancement programmes to ensure enterprise targets are fully met.
  • Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.

Required Skills/Qualification:
  • First degree in a numerate qualification; Economics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience in a similar a similar role would be preferable

Job Description:
  • Develop the Project scope, problem statement and goal statement.

Qualification:
