Job Title: Manager, Capacity Management

Location: 
Lagos

Responsibilities
Capacity Management Manager should describe the deliverables and its qualifications. Capacity Management - is not only for Infrastructure but also across applications and other IT environment and domains. The candidate should have experience and competently capable of producing a capacity plan - which is a basic and fundamental activity for any capacity planning activities.
The Capacity Modeling and Planning skills are important in order to allow the IT capacity requirements to be fulfilled over their planning period. The service may encompassed across all technology levels; application, service and infrastructure, depending on the client’s requirements. He/she should work with the customer and various Operations and Transformation team to deliver the key components of the process:
  • Defining the workload of the system through workload and baseline management
  • Identifying the business drivers of the system - not purely technical such as CPU, licenses etc
  • Business forecasting inputs
  • Capacity forecasting
  • Defining and creating the capacity plan
  • Regular tracking of the capacity plan and updating the right model
  • Proper escalations and risk inputs to Risk management and Audit
Requirement
  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant work experience preferably in the Telecoms with at least three (3) years at supervisory position
General Requirement
  • Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority
  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
  • Good customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently
  • Should ho ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (word. excel and PowerPoint)
  • Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
  • Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written.

Position Description
  • Manage all APDNL offshore and onshore maintenance planning, support, inspection, shutdown activities and integrity of fixed assets in order to deliver unit availability and reliability, required to maintain production within company and governmental guidelines.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Maintenance and Reliability section has a clearly defined strategy, structure and appropriate processes in place to provide the correct level of support for the management of a wide variety of maintenance, reliabilty, inspection, repair, risk assessment, and corrosion management technologies to ensure that Addax Maintenance & Asset Integrity Management Programs are executed with optimal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate lead management commitment to the Addax HSSE Policies and to the HSE MS.
Position Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Actively participate in all HSE initiatives to support the delivery of zero accidents and incidents.
  • Manage interfaces and work collaboratively with the other departments such as Facilities, Asset Management, SCM, HSE and contractors.
  • Identify and deliver improvements in policy, strategy and efficiency of maintenance, integrity, engineering and related HSE processes/activities to optimize maintenance/operational life cycle costs in line with Addax strategies and KPI’s.
  • Manage the planning, implementing and co-ordinating Asset Integrity Management Systems, Corrosion Management & annual inspection programme of onshore & offshore assets liaising with Operations, Asset Management, HSE and Facilities.
  • Develop application and fully implement risk and reliability management techniques, like RBI, RCM and IPF.
  • Responsible for the 5-year Integrity plan i.e. Hardware Barrier Reviews and FAIRs.
  • Provide Technical Authority support for discipline engineering, relevant maintenance disciplines and projects, and manage change control. Maintain healthy and competent capability of TAs.
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of engineering and maintenance procedures and management • Develop where needed and implement risk based inspection programs to improve asset integrity with a strong focus on safety, cost containment and integrity.
  • Develop asset integrity conditioning monitoring strategies and programs for loss containment purposes including corrosion monitoring and all issues, which have potential to impact asset integrity, including equipment/hardware, process/procedures, operational business systems, verification/ assurance and personnel competences.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track program performance and KPMI (Key Parameters for Mechanical Integrity) Program where applicable for the Business Area.
  • Maximize fixed equipment uptime to optimize shutdowns and extend turnaround intervals in compliance to regulatory requirements and identify resources to support troubleshooting of fixed equipment recurrent problems and apply root case analysis (RCA) practices to equipment failure investigations.
  • Support the implementation of production uptime programs including Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
  • Lead the Degradation Manuals Program:
    • Ensure adequate, consistent working documents are in place for all plants and equipment
    • Ensure Asset Integrity Engineers have ownership of their Degradation Manuals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop national staff with a view to progressively advance the nationalisation of the Company’s staff in country.
Key Performance Indicators/Performance Goals
  • Reduction in downtime due to loss of containment and mechanical failures.
  • Increase in uptime through implementation of PM & PdM.
  • Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) is in place and functioning.
  • Continuous improvement programs in place and functioning.
Job Specifications
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Corrosion or Metallurgy.
  • 20+ years’ experience required in the oil & gas industry both offshore and onshore. Experience in West Africa is a plus.
Key Competencies Requirements
Familiarity with and understanding of:
  • Maintenance and Asset integrity management at a senior management level.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, standards and maintenance planning.
  • Knowledge and experience in Pressure vessel, pipeline and storage tank integrity management.
  • Strong Managerial, communication and organisational skills are essential. Presentation skills and ability to develop staff.

Job Summary
  • Manager, Campaign Management is responsible for designing data and analytical driven multi-channel marketing campaigns and managing them through the complete campaign lifecycle (plan, test, execute, measure and refine).
  • Through the analytical and systematic engagement of the subscribers by leveraging on the outbound and inbound channels, the campaign manager will be responsible for the incremental uplifting the subscribers' usage, revenue and reduce churn on the network.
  • He/she team will focus on proper test design, significance testing, establishing error ranges, and key success metrics. Extensive experience in dealing with marketing databases and predictive data mining techniques including logistic regression and decision tree analysis is crucial.
  • Additionally, the campaign manager must have hands-on experience with modelling tools such as SPSS or SAS as well as campaign management tools such as E-magine, NBA or UNICA. Other roles include working cross-functionally to operationalize innovative campaign concepts through all available channels across the enterprise.
Principal Functions
  • Create and update strategies and tactical plans for campaigns to meet the product and marketing goals.
  • Develop valid campaign test designs to ensure conclusions are obtained and are of significance
  • Continually assess campaign information and design needs, prioritize needs and direct team in the best way to meet them
  • Create complex analysis, interpret results and provide a point of view to upper management, peers and customers from other groups utilizing marketing campaign services.
  • Ensure business rules for consumer contact strategies are coordinated across channel team

  • Utilize all software tools to identify data trends and create target models that will lead to more efficient targeting of marketing campaigns.
  • Pioneer campaign reports through ad-hoc analysis and lead the hand-off process to the data management group for ongoing support and publishing of results.
  • Responsible for managing the external vendors who are responsible for up and running of the campaign management solutions.
  • Proposes new campaign initiatives as well as options for convergence aimed at penetrating the segments to derive maximum value at individual customer level.
  • Provides recommendations, design and execute programs to elongate customer lifecycle on the network;
  • Ensures synergy across functional areas through effective management of inter-functional relations and activities.
Educational Requirements
  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Experience, Skills & Competencies
  • Six (6) to eight (8) years work experience, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 5 years in Database/Direct Marketing, Product Management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of campaign management, customer contact management, segmentation, prospecting, and analysis
