Role Summary/Purpose
  • The Employee HR Manager is the first point of contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee related questions.
  • This role is critical in executing our key HR initiatives, providing available and responsive internal employee support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
  • This role will be directly aligned to a highly-complex, defined employee population.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple senior leaders and employees within a complex business environment, including supporting multiple matrixed organizations with acquired businesses, union relations, or global footprints;
  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate;
  • Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to HR Business Partners; navigates employees and manager to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource;
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and O&TD professionals to execute business-specific HR strategies;
  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved;
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment;
  • Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance;
  • Conduct HR training and support for functional processes like EMS, Session C, Salary Planning, New Employee Orientation and New Manager Assimilation;
  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed;
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college;
  • Minimum of 5 years professional work in the Human Resources function with responsibilities such as recruiting, training, compensation, benefits,
  • employee development or performance management; Experience working in a matriced work environment preferred.
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.
  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
  • Candidate to be resident in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria

The Programme
The Nestle Technical Training Centre offers 18-month multi-skill, theoretical and rigorous vocational training in three core disciplines:
  • Mechanical maintenance activities
  • Electrical / Instrumentation/Calibration maintenance activities
  • Introduction to Automation maintenance activities
Learning Facilities
The Centre is ideally located in the middle of engineering activities in the factory. It is well equipped with the following facilities: Modern classrooms, standard library, computer and technical drawings rooms, state-of-the-art electrical/instrumentation/automation and mechanical workshops.

The students are also exposed to industrial work experience in the various plants within the factory. Trainees are continuously assessed and appraised during the period of training.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must have obtained the following qualifications not earlier than 2013.
  • Minimum of Lower Credit in Ordinary National Diploma (OND) issued by a Nigerian Polytechnic in any of the following (or related) fields of study:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electrical/Installation & Maintenance Engineering
    • Applied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Mechatronics)
    • Applied Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
    • Industrial Measurement and Control/Instruments Mechanics Work

Job Purpose and Key Deliverables

Task

  • Achieve volume and distribution targets through direct selling (Top-up stock), management of the rural wholesale customer and monitoring of van sales.

Responsibilities
Your people responsibility will be:
  • Supporting Rural wholesale business expansion by providing Trade marketing support for the DSS rep attached.
  • Engaging local government officials, transport/ traffic agencies and other stakeholders to avoid disruption of BAT operations in the defined rural territory
  • Supporting Van Reps to achieve high performance by developing new routes and giving TM&D support to existing outlets.
Essential Requirements
  • Candidate must have an OND from any reputable polytechnic.
  • Should have basic Selling, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining relationships with consumers, retailers and semi wholesaler.
  • Knowledge of redistribution concept, business reporting and communication.
  • Fluency in English & Hausa.
  • Driving skills is desired for this position.
Desirable Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for operation of filling machine assigned to him within the production department in accordance to operating instructions and established standard parameters for the product being produced, including CIP cleaning.

  • Responsible for keeping machines in clean condition whether in operation or on standby.

  • Assist the supervisors in the training (on the job) of line workers in the various production activities of the line operation.
  • Fill professionally the production report and other related documents as required.

Profile
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in packaging and processing or manufacturing environment
  • National Diploma (ND) or City and Guild in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical), or other relevant diploma in Engineering.
  • Minimum of five (5) Credit including English language and Mathematics in SSCE or its equivalent (in not more than 2 sittings) is required.

Purpose of Role:
To support GNPLC’s business objectives through the effective management of designated sales territory with a focus on low value outlets including implementation of all sales activities/programmes in the retail sales territory and activation of Basic sales drivers (price compliance, distribution, basic visibility)

Top Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the account management and activation of low value outlets and hypermarkets
  • Listing of innovations and ability to pre-sell
  • Ensure achievement of Basic sales drivers (price compliance, distribution, basic visibility) for Territory
  • Ensures sales out of distributors/market share growth are achieved via monitoring the RRS scheme, excellent execution of promotions. Ensures promotional activity is in the right outlets and well managed. Has to keep and update a database of outlets within the territory.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Graduate with minimum 1 year commercial expertise gained across Sales / Consumer Marketing or Sales Management. Entry level route for graduate trainees into the sales function.
  • Direct experience of Diageo Way of selling capabilities with a focus on Sales Driver execution at the point of purchase (QDVPPP) Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Promotion and Persuasion, Outlet Segmentation and Managing Relationships including structured call, persuasive selling and brand passion.

Responsibilities
  • The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity.
