About Your Job

• As the Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and timely processing of sales reports, collections, and BSP/CASS reports in line with QR policies and Internal Accounting Procedures.

Specific Accountabilities include:

• Correct monthly closing as per Head quarter's target dates
• Ensure routine activities are processed in line with QR finance policies and IAP
• Ensuring Proper ADM/ACM and refund handling
• Ensuring receivables are collected in a timely manner
• Preparing monthly schedules and reconciliations for balance sheet ledgers
• Timely checking and posting of sales reports

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant Bachelor's degree combined with a minimum of 2 years of job related accounting experience.
• 1 year of your experience should have been gained in a similar finance role with exposure to aviation expenditure and revenue accounting.
• You will need user level experience of an ERP system and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, contracts and local laws and regulations (such as VAT, Tax and Payroll) are required.
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is essential for this role.

About Your Job:

• In this role you will ensure that Airport Operations in all areas run smoothly, in a cost effective manner, and conform to safety and security requirements. Essential to this role is ensuring that customers are provided with the Qatar Airways 5 Star service promise, thus creating a competitive advantage for Qatar Airways in all ground products and services.
• You will champion the Qatar Airways customer, employees, our contractors and our Airline in all phases of the airport operation to provide a safe, professional and on time operation that exceeds the internal and external customer expectations and attains the 5 star on the Ground service promise.
• Responsible for training and resource planning you will recommend staffing levels, plan and implement working schedules, implement necessary controls and ensure compliance with labour laws. You will handle irregular operations at minimum cost  whilst ensuring an impeccable level of customer service and ensure operations are within budget. You will monitor all airport use agreements, rental agreements and third party service providers.

About You:

• To join our 5 star team in this role you will need a to have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent with at least 3 years experience as an airport manager with a major airline.
• You will have a minimum of 5 years experience within an airline, customer service environment or GHA operations environment including varying supervisory and management roles. Extensive overall knowledge of all areas of airport operations is required.
• Fluency in English is essential.

You will deal with customers at the counter, and other related administration duties.

Requirements

• To be successful in this role you must have a University Degree with a minimum of 1 years experience in an airline / travel / hospitality industry.
• You will be service oriented with good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge in IATA standard reservation/ticketing procedures is required with fair knowledge of world geography and exposure to reservation system is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and adequate knowledge of PC-based applications are also required.
