Rainoil Limited Vacancy : Admin Officers

Rainoil, an integrated Oil and Gas Company operating in the Downstream Sector is currrently set to recruit the services of a qualified Administrative Officer. Job Title: Admin Officer

Job Summary
  • Provides high quality administrative support to staff and ensures effective use and availability of company's facilities, working tools and equipment for business operational performance 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implements approved administrative strategies, policies and procedures. Monitors to ensure adoption of policies and compliance among staff.
  • Liaises with the Admin Manager to ensure prompt and adequate provision of office supplies
  • Executes and oversees the provision of general support services, including dispatch, cleaning, catering and water supply services and upkeep of office premises
  • Records and processes invoices, receipts and payments as required and instructed.
  • Maintains effective working relationship with vendors and suppliers to ensure excellent service delivery and minimal disruption to business operations
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records of company's office assets and ensures that the relevant updates are made across all departments.
  • Liaises with Unit Heads and conducts checks to ensure the safe keeping and efficient utilization of all office facilities and equipment.
  • Liaises with Finance and Accounts for the prompt payment of utility bills, maintenance bills etc.
  • Liaises with the relevant vendor for printing of staff ID cards, complimentary cards and note pads etc.
  • Prepares periodic reports with respect to the activities in the Administrative unit for review and decision making
  • Handles complaints on disruptions and faults on utilities and follows up promptly for reconnection / repairs.
  • Maintains records of expenditures on telephones and other utilities.
  • Reviews the company's list of approved vendors on a quarterly basis, benchmarking against leading practices and service level agreements.
  • Appraises the company's assets periodically to ensure that relevant assets are adequately insured, negotiates terms and ensures that premiums are promptly settled
Required Qualification
  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Social Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in an admin function
  • Membership or certification with relevant professional body will be added advantage

Rainoil Limited is recruiting for the post of Internal Auditors to manage an the Company;s accounts. We are a leading downstream oil marketing company; primary products which include (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK).

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location:

Job Summary
  • To provide independent, objective assurance on Interswitch compliance with statutory requirements, policies and procedures thereby minimising exposure to potential risks and impact on business performance
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists in the implementation of internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote operational efficiency & transparency
  • Conducts Internal Control evaluation and risk assessments to identify loopholes and areas  requiring management intervention to prevent frauds, embezzlements, misappropriations,  misuse and wastage
  • Conducts audit tests and investigations as designed by the Audit Team Lead
  • Prepares draft audit reports for review by the Team Leads
  • Evaluates information security and associated risk exposures
  • Coordinates and participates in periodic inventory count and fixed asset verification exercises.
  • Evaluates the means of safeguarding company assets and as appropriate, verifies the existence of such assets
  • Gathers data for internal audit through a variety of methods including interviews, financial research, downloads, etc.
  • Verifies the existence of documents vital to the operations of the various functions in Rainoil
  • Evaluates operations or programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established processes, objectives and goals and whether the operations or programs are being carried out as planned.
  • Follows-up on the implementation of the audit recommendations and ensures that improvements are made to reduce the residual risks to appropriate levels
  • Generates periodic reports on internal audit activities for review by the Audit Team Lead
Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum of Four (4) years relevant experience working in the internal audit function of a similar organisation
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting or any finance related course.
  • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Desirable:
  • MBA or Master’s degree in any related discipline

Rainoil Limited was incorporated in November 1994  and we currently recruit for the position of a graduate Audit Trainee. We commenced business as an Oil Marketing Company in the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas Industry in May 1997. From very humble beginnings with one Service Station in 1999 with which we entered into a Bulk Purchase Agreement with NNPC as an Independent Petroleum Products Marketing company, we have grown to a group of subsidiary companies with substantial investments in the following areas of the Downstream Operations: Tank Farm Operations, Jetty Services, Haulage/Distribution and Retail Outlets Operation.
